I wish there was a device out there that just connected my brain to this blog. There are so many times throughout the day that I come up with thoughts and topics and I think I will write about it later. It would be so easy if I could just plug in my brain at the end of the day, like an iPhone, and everything would upload.
But it doesn't so you get few and far between updates from me. Sigh. My 24 Challenge is clearly over. My total weight loss was 6lbs and I was happy with it. Keeping it off so far! Had a little set back with some medical stuff but I'm back to running again so hopefully I will continue my path. My birthday was a little over a month ago and I got the best present ever from Preston. He got me tickets to the Dallas Summer Musical series. So far we have seen Catch Me If You Can and Mary Poppins. Next month is Wicked! It's so exciting for me and there are several that I know he won't want to go to so I get to take a friend. It's going to be hard to pick!!
Back to boring information! I have moved on to a different book then the ones I posted prior. I need to go back and finish the book that I got from work. I have a lunch in June and need to be able to discuss it. Eck! Preston has run 2 half marathons now. I'm so proud of him. He went from never running at all to running more than I have ever run. I say I could never do that, but watching him do it makes me think I can. Every time I have tried to train to do a 10k something always happens that sets me back. Some people I know say I'm making excuses, but I just look the other way. If they only knew what the real reason was they wouldn't say it was an excuse. They just aren't close enough friends to me for me to tell them my personal info, duh. So, judge me all you want folks. I will run a 10k when I feel like I physically can. It's not about you.
Ooooo, I just saw another preview for the Great Gatsby on TV. Comes out May 10th, got to go see that. But of course I want to reread the book...so...I need to finish up the book I'm on. Whew, I got a lot of reading to do.
Happy Easter!
